Now you can pay premium online through PLI Customer Portal https: pli.indiapost.gov.in after registration. Detailed process of registering before I can register in the PLI Customer Portal is as follows:

If you have recently gone to the post office to deposit your PLI or RPL Policy premium and the counter clerk will be asked to update your policy and copy the premium receipt book.

Last year, the Post of Department launched the new "Maccash" software under the IT modernization project, making all the PLIs and RPLI records online of their policyholders online. Previously premiums were updated at the end of the month in premium off-line software and premium data policy accounts.

Now all the policy records made by the DOP (Department of the Post) and the insurer can pay any post office premium in India. Premium information is updated on the same day and SMS alerts are also received by the insurer if the mobile number is registered with the PLI.
