TRAI’s Master-Plan: Your Mobile Bill will be more dropped in reduced manner.

TRAI’s Master-Plan: Your Mobile Bill will be more dropped in reduced manner.

Since Reliance Jio came into the market, the interconnect access charge or the IUC is in conflict with existing telecom players. The IUC is now banned 14 paise per minute and it is a significant part of revenue for telecom players. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is now considering abolishing the IUC, which can prove to be a big booster for the Jio. If the IUC is today repealed, Jio gets Rs. 6000 crores of revenue.

On the other hand, other telecoms like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone each get Rs. Loses 6000 crores. Telecom war has just become more exciting.

According to the reports coming out of the fund, the first 50% of the IUC will be deducted, and every minute up to 14 paise per minute will make it 7 paise. After this, the IUC will be reduced to 3 paise per minute, and then finally all will be eliminated together. IOC will take into account the monetary list of reducing, and will then take a final decision by the end of the month.

Jio will enjoy, but other telecoms can suffer a heavy loss Right now, IUC currently owns about 14 to 20 percent of the current telecom players. For example, Airtel owns 14% of their total domestic wireless mobilization from the IUC, while Idea has raised 18% of the revenue from the IUC. If the UUC is reduced from 50% to 7 paisa per minute, then telcos like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone will be able to get around Rs. If the IUC is reduced by 3 paise, then the loss will be Rs. 3360 crores annually. 5280 crores. . And if all breaks together, the loss will rise to 6720 crores each year, and these damages will increase revenues for Jio.

In fact, Jio has repeatedly asked to terminate the IUC charges, which it describes as "an artificial barrier created by current administrators with legacy techniques". On the other hand, other telecom players have been asked to increase the IUC, and make at least 35 paisa per minute to increase their revenues. In May, 2017, by the airline, Idea and Vodafone, IRC canceled the demand of airlines, Idea and Vodafone to increase this demand as anti-customer and anti-market principles. The Bank of America-Merrill Lynch report said that if Airtel, Idea And Vodafone's revenue can now affect the range of 6-15%, if the IUC has been canceled today. HSBC said in its report, "Jio's business model works best in zero IUC rule because it gives unlimited information and free voice, while its margins are covered when the IUC is above zero."
